At Kunsthøjskolen the choice of subject is not limited to specific areas. We place emphasis on a dynamic exchange between the artistic fields. You can put together your own individual course by freely choosing workshop subjects and study subjects in the different teaching periods offered.

The course is divided into 3 periods, lasting 6 weeks, 5 weeks and 5 weeks. Teaching is divided into two sections: The study section and the workshop section. During the first two periods you choose one subject from the study section and one subject from the workshop section. Before you choose, the different teachers present their subject.

All workshop subjects are taught by artists who pass on their understanding and practical experience with art. A large number of visiting guest-teachers and lecturers contribute to the constant development of a living and active environment in constant contact with the contemporary art scene around us.
